The pandemic may be over, but teaching presentations on Zoom live on! I'll be giving a presentation at the Extensive Reading Summer Seminar for the JALT ER SIG on August 3rd about how methods that work well to motivate children to do extensive reading in the USA don't always work with children in an eikaiwa school in Japan.

I'm especially excited about hearing what the plenary speaker has to say about extensive reading in Thailand.

In mid-July, it was great to attend an all afternoon seminar on Zoom about raising bilingual children, sponsored by Kobe JALT. It's essential to hear what other educators have to say and keep up with current teaching trends.
